High card wins, as long as it's higher than the other card on the board. If the board card is higher or tied with either player's best hole card it's a split pot.

Just remember it's the best 5 card hand.

If the highest card is on the board, then it splits

not a good time for having pair of kings against A2 because in a K3333 board the set of kings will be useless and the ace high is going to win the hand. however in omaha there is no chance for quads on the board, because even if there are 4 of a kind you can only use 3 community cards making imposible to use all the 4 cards to make a game.

If both players have the same rank quads, the player with the highest fifth card, often called a kicker, wins the pot.

Enjoy this unforgettable spectacle

Some sites it is always a split. I don't like that policy but it is what it is.

Always high card, holdem is best 5 card hand. Omaha however, you must use two hole cards so you could technically only use 3 of the threes (assuming you don't have a better set)

Obviously, the quality of your hand also depends on the rank of the pair and it follows that the best starting hand in Texas Hold'em is a pair of aces. They look beautiful, and every Texas Hold'em player goes to sleep and dreams of finding nothing but aces in the hole.

True story - this was in a free poker game in a bar, so nothing important at state - but the board showed 4 queens and an Ace. Three players were still in the hand. First guy goes all in; second guy calls; third person thinks for a moment, then folds.
