Several players play at home. Many times children watch the games out of curiosity. What effects could they have on the child's behavior?

My son watched me play for a few months when he was 12. He asked if he could play some hands...within a few weeks, he was going deep in freeroll tournaments and won a Full Tilt 360 player freeroll tournament, winning a ticket into a $1000 tournament. He joined Cardschat, then I took over when he got bored with poker and he started playing Magic the Gathering.

Probably the same as when they watch any game being played. They'll either be interested and want to play or they'll be bored and find other things to do.

these are children they are interested in everything
but then they themselves make their choice and our job is to help them support or dissuade them from the bad if this is so

Hi.
It is difficult to answer. I think that the most important thing for children is that parents love and respect each other and love their children. It is difficult to answer what the consequences may be from watching TV, or surfing the Internet, or from computer games. I think the consequences for everyone will be different.
Good luck.

Puuh, my kids /boys are 4 and 6 years old. They watched me playing and especially the bigger one plays a lot with our cards. Correct, better than watching TV :)

I am really surprised that they can understand the rules, they now understand, that all-in with good cards is not always the best solution :)

Sometimes I feel not comfortable with it, that they could talk about outside our family, that others don`t think we are a kids` casino.

I think that in the future children may become addicted-gambling people

Don't need to worry about Children, it's the adolescent, just turned 18, you need to worry about as poker influence can accelerate their desire to earn.
