I believe poker should be taught in every elementary school.
I believe poker prepares us much more for life (and how to defend against scoundrels and rapscallions) than just about anything else we can do.
In school, you are taught that:
1. There is one right answer.
2. Authority knows it.
And rewarded for having that answer. For seeing things 'one way' and obeying.
In poker, you deal with probabilities and percentages.
Which one is real life to you?
Of your decisions, is there one right and one wrong way? Not always? Sometimes not ever?
If you want to teach people to understand and respond to real life, teach them poker.
Even better than chess.
More coming soon...
