Hello, my name is Luciano. My in-game nickname is “sanguchedemila”.
I want to share my poker story.
A few years ago (2016) I learned what this wonderful game of Poker is about, yes, I found out about it through pokerstars advertisements.
I signed up and started playing with fictitious money chips. I was obviously playing without knowing, every time I entered a table, I would lose all my chips.
Then, I started to get together with some friends who used to hold meetings to play poker games in their homes (2018), there I understood more about the game and began to earn some money in those games they were building.
A couple of years passed (2020) and I left poker aside the moment I stopped hanging out with the boys since I moved to another city.
Despite that, I met other new friends who played Poker, and I was surprised that they had made their first $5,000 playing online poker.
From that moment on, I began to see Poker as more than just a game.
Since then, I would periodically start watching videos of the Poker tournaments, specifically the final tables of the Tournaments, to me it seemed crazy, I was very delighted with those events.
In 2021, I saw one of my favorite artists who I knew was playing Amateur Poker decide to play Poker professionally.
A few years later, he placed 7th in the world series of poker winning 1,225,000 USD. Absolutely crazy!
But it wasn't a matter of luck, because he also won other tournaments and is still playing.
All of this makes me wonder, why would anyone decide to make poker a lifestyle? (Specifically speaking of tournaments)
Will it be for money?
Is it because of adrenaline?
Will it be because of Fame?
By realization?
The answers can be a lot depending on who wants to respond.
I took Papo MC (Loccoco ARG) as a source of inspiration to encourage me to launch my career in Poker.
In 2022, I decided to become as professional as possible, to study, to put in hours of practice and, above all, to learn from mistakes.
I decided to sign up for the Poker Freeroll tournaments to start generating my first real profits and start growing from there to play tournaments and win them.
If you have any recommendations, I thank you.
