My friends and I sometimes get together and play cards on the little things, there have never been problems.

I think good friends can just give money back to each other after the game. This way you will be in a good mood both during the game and after it.:)

I think if you play at small limits then there is no harm to your friendship.

I play with friends for real money. Your attitude just has to be different. It’s about hanging out and visiting more than winning. Plus we always play for a pretty small amount like $20. Just enough to keep it interesting.

I think friendship cannot be destroyed by playing poker for money, poker is just a game, if these are real friends, then friendship will not suffer.:)

I never had a disagreement with my friends because of gambling.
I always knew how to separate friendship from gambling.

I think that if your bets are small in the game with friends, then there will be no problems.

If your friends are adults rather than children, shouldn't be a problem. If you don't know which is which, that's a you problem.

In my case, friendship is further strengthened because the times we meet we play only in a fictitious way, we never play for real money, just to avoid any kind of inconvenience.

Friendship is friendship and poker is a competition. Money is not the main thing. For me, there are no friends at the table, there are only my opponents.

Losing friends?

I've been playing for better than 35 years, and can't say as I recall having ever lost a friend through the process. I can even say I've made a few good friends at the poker tables, even online. One friend I met at the tables 30 years ago I just visited for a week in Maui last summer.

So I guess you could say I've made more good friends than I've lost by playing poker.

When i have free time, why not play poker with friends. When we play, we play small amounts.I think it does not depend on the amount of money, everything depends on friends here. But as practice shows, money and friends are like water and oil.

everything where money is involved can ruin your relationship with friends and even family. No matter if it is poker or other job

As long as everyone just puts money at stake that doesn't hurt when it's lost
there shouldn't be a problem. And if you knnow the stakes are too high for that
you would deny the offer to play against someone who is your friend...

Yes, I can play for money with my friends, and it won't hurt our friendship. I think so.

I never played live poker for money! But I will say from the experience of other games - if you play for money then forget about friendship! In a serious game of money, everyone is for himself!

Money

Hi, of course not, I don't know what kind of friends would ruin their friendship for money. I think poker is a great game for gatherings between friends. It's fun, obviously you have to play to the maximum, but money is the least of it. regards

It really depends on the people. When i play at home games with friends focus is much more on the good fun and drinking some beers than on the game itself. Even some pro players are friends when they are not at the table so it is definitely possible to have both.

Of course you can play without damaging your friendship. If you lose your friends by playing I think someone would be taking losing in this game very seriously

Friendship is friendship and business is business. If you confuse the two, friendship often loses.

Poker is a pretty emotional game and I would not recommend playing for money (at least for big money) so as not to lose friendship. With friends, you can play on conditional chips. There are special envy for other purposes.

No

Every time my friends got together to play poker for money it turned into one problem or another. We don't do it at all anymore.
