why is 8-7 RPM?

You would need to be quite old to know that! More correctly, I'd guess the hand would be 78 not 87. The difference being that 78 (RPM) is the speed in Revolutions Per Minute that records used to spin at way back in the dark ages long before CD's were ever thought of - let alone any more modern gismos!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason I think 7/2 should be called a lame duck. Not really a question, just makes sense. Duck with a walking stick right?

Haha good one. I can't remember if it's in Danish or Dutch but in at least one language the number 6 is pronounced "Sex", ovf course in German that's pronounced "Zex".

At any rate, that should help some with any hands including the # 6. If any hands at all are nameless.

"Six" sounds like "sex" with a new zealand accent too

Anyone know what the small Irish forest hand is?

9,9 a german virgin comes from "nein, nein" (no, no), as far as I know

Red nines are the Gretsky; a pair of black nines is the Phil Helmuth.

AQ is known as a Mike Tyson- looks tuff but gets beat up a lot.

i think the 2 is a duck or swan because it kinda looks like a swan on the water with like the majority of the body under water, and looks like the back and curvy neck sticking above the water......?

gulp!.... 78's were the big band era records (Benny Goodman and such) then the 45's (usually a "hit" on the A side and a "B side" song)....by the time I started buying albums they 33 1/3....and songs from the second side, middle or beyond were known as "deep cuts"
