Poker became a hobby as play continued and entertainment also
For me it's a hobby until it becomes profitable enough to call it something else.
for me it´s a hobby, few times i play more, But I can be without playing poker
What is poker for you? Dependency or hobby?
I srsly want this game to support more on improving skills such as decisions making, assets management and opportunity costs =), so yeah that means something in my life.
It's more like a hobby, I like to come home and play a few games before studying
I wanted it to become a hobby but it gets boring live. You become too sedative sitting there for hours. So, now I play for fun.
Once it became so boring that the thought of playing poker at the casino made me puke. Believe me.
After that, took a 3 month break and only play once in a week/couple of weeks.
The difference between hobby and dependence sometimes is invisible
When I was learning to play, I eat, slept, and breathed poker. It's a fun game, but it's nothing that I want to build an unhealthy dependence to. My father gambled away multiple millions of dollars when I was a kid, and we lost our house, business, and caused my parents to get a divorce. Granted that's an extreme case, I see how it could happen. I try to distance myself from getting too attached. It's fun as hell though
It's just a hobby for me, I am not good enough to play at a consistent level and I am too focused on other things in life to play a lot. I prefer to study math.
For me poker in hobby but I want make on this
!!
For me it started only as a hobby, but I believe that today I have poker as something of daily life and that brings me joy, practically a dependency.
So that's it, GL and we meet at the tables !!!
