The poker sign-ups are relatively high in most clubs. In the BSOP tournaments, for example, the buy-in costs R$2500 (the entry, no mention the players who make the re-entry), a higher value than the average salary of the population.

With the growth of online poker, more clubs have opened with more affordable buy-ins.

I believe that is a very pertinent topic for those who live in countries farthest away from the major poles.

In your opinion, the poker is a place mostly for entrepreneurs and who has money or currently is more democratic? And in your country, how does it work? I would like to hear more testimonials about this.

Thanks for listening! :jd4:

Live poker will always be at least a little bit expensive (relatively speaking) because the room has to charge enough to pay for all of its operating costs.

Online is where you want to be for more reasonably priced games.

With the years the live poker has been transforming and now in every big event is some tournaments with some low entries, also the satellites allow the entry to a low cost so i think that the poker has been more inclusive than before.

In my town can play any kind of people because we have tournaments with buy in from 10$ wich is not very expensive and there are a lot of people joining them.A big tournament/event buy in is like 150-250$.

Poker is played in more and more places and the buy-ins usually differ a lot, depending where you play. There are casinos with buyins of 1000$+ only but there are also smaller tournament with buyins of 10-50$

I think it all depends on the player's skill !!! without investing the money you can earn in free tournaments !!! it requires a lot of work on his game !!! but it's real !!! with a strong desire is always possible to make money online then to play in live tournaments !!!

Yeah the High Profile games are what the public hear about but as we know that's just a small slice of the action. Because of this I think it makes it look like a High Society environment and to must degree it is, but even at the Micro's it can feel just as highly strung.

In our country the mentality of people is that they think that poker is associated with a constant deceptions, crime and criminals)

My local casino does not offer live poker at all so if I want to play it has to be online.

Several casinos in my country started "Poker Evenings" some while ago with different BuyIns. There are BuyIns of around 10-50€ and some with around 200-500 BuyIn.

If you want to play Live Poker, there are Places to play, even with small armounts of money

Poker is a game that almost everyone can play, but the commmon sense make us think that only rich people are able to play it. The examples are obvious, i think everyoine is readiong this post have already played that homegame in which the buy-in is like 1 or 2 dollars
