Playing over my bankroll.

I need someone to tell me some how to know how much of your bankroll to play with. What % should I use?

Never gamble more than 5-10% keep it to 5 imo...100 dollar deposit play 3-5$ sng or 10/25c cash tables

I usually advise to play with 10% max but even myself get greedy sometimes. I once played with 70% of my bankroll because i was on a roll and felt i couldnt lose. You are maybe waiting a story of how i lost and you shouldnt do that but actually i won a huge amount that day. But i made a mistake in gambling with that much.

Hi Danny and welcome to Cards Chat. There are many threads on this forum that deal with bank roll management. Would suggest that you read some of these to better understand BRM. There's a lot more to BRM than what % to play. Are you a new player? What's your skill level? Just because a person deposits a lot of money doesn't mean they should be playing in higher stakes games. There's already a lot of info on this forum. Do a search and take some time to read. You will gain a lot more knowledge that way and better understand how to manage your bankroll based on your level of experience.

I like to keep it to less than 5%, you play too high and you can lose your entire bankroll, this way you have more chances to rebuild if you are losing.

Well, a standart bankroll is 150 buy-ins, that is, if you play $ 1 tournaments, then you must have at least $ 150 in the bank

I agree, and as you are struggeling with BRM, STAY AWAY FROM CASH GAMES,
study the strategy pages and get yourself some solid pokerskills.
