I prefer to play LIVE because I can see and estuar the reaction of the players during play . In Online people do not have the same focus that has in LIVE

Our area doesnt give us much live action. Only 1 tourney a week in our town.
But on-line I have profited fairly well. From less than $30 with 4 profiles to over $1000.

Live because you can take more time to analyze hands as oppose to quick play of online.

I get too excited when I play live.

Also, the last 3 times I played live I got huge bad beats on me (nut flush vs flopped and slowplayed full house, AA losing to JJ, and top set losing to runner runner flush).

I should have been able to get away from the nut flush vs the full house, but I got too excited lol

I like online poker more. Live I deal more with my opponents and I become more uncertain with my hands. I think live is harder to play and I always get fearsome. Online are playing a lot of donks why I get sometimes confused but all in all I like online.

I'm not sure if i'm better live or online. Believe it or not I'm probably more patient live than online.

But I do enjoy the live game much more than online. To me you can't beat live from the interaction stand point. But it's not as much about the $$$ made for me as it use to be.

I've never played live, but I think the online is much more comfortable. In addition you can hide your feelings better in online games . I'm with online poker.

I've only played live poker a handful of times and have been playing poker for over 5 years. The thing is I've won every time I played live poker at the casino. I think its easier to get reads on others in live play, but playing online is available 24/7. I'm going to try to play more live poker for sure this year.

I enjoy playing live. I like to be able to see the other players, conversate with them, see when they're going on tilt, and you hear a lot of stories and learn a lot more I feel like. If you play online you only learn what you go out and seek, during live play information is being fed to you. You can always learn something from someone at a live poker table when they're talking. Either A, they knew something you didn't and now you know, or B they have no idea what they're talking about and you know you can take advantage of this person now.

online play is very good you play in peace in the comfort of your home, however the live side of you see the person's reaction and it changes a lot too :)

I prefer online poker. More freedom. You can drink beer, get up from the table and walk. You can use helper programs.

Both. But live is more interesting and, moreover, it avoids the famous "ghosts" at table.

prefer live - lets me meet other players on an equal footing with chance to read them and their style of play over a longer period. More fun and companionship. As I am getting older (don't ask) finding games in my area during the day is difficult and at night my brain turns off at 9.00 p.m. and I have difficulty switching it on again. My wife has doubts as to whether it is ever really on, especially when she is talking to me. (I call it selective hearing - she just thinks I'm deaf)

HOWEVER as a pensioner have learnt to enjoy the challenge of internet when I can play when I want and cheaply.
