I mostly play online. Sometimes 1-2 times a month I can play live SnG tournaments, and no doubt, such tournaments are more exciting. But from a financial point of view, tournaments online are more profitable for me, due to the number of tables that I play at the same time.

I prefer to play in live tournaments, but I do not have the financial ability to visit casinos abroad, it will probably be in the near future.

I like more live poker than online, because live poker has its own atmosphere. In everything else, I like online poker, other players do not see you personally or your emotions, which increases your chances of winning.

I used to enjoy online poker when I first got into poker, but nowadays I much prefer live poker. I don't think I get an adrenaline rush from online poker like I do in live when I'm pulling a bluff.

Which better, playing poker online or in-real?

This question i've asked to myself a lot but i didn't get a suitable answer, which is better? i see that if i play it in-real will actually distract me more than when i play through the Internet!

What do you think?

My goal is to play live regularly (few times a week) but I am not that good would lose my money quick. In the mean time I can play online without travelling (Just under two hours to the FW or Mohegun Sun from here depending on traffic).

So very glad to have the ability to play online and work on my game with minimal to zero financial risk.

Live players are playing levels beyond their capability because there are no micro stakes. From my experience, the live players are just as similiar as the micro stakes players.

I prefer playing online because it's faster. It's easier to be less emotional about what you're doing at the table. You can just move on to the next hand without any delays, really. Plus, since you're not physically there reading an opponent, you're more about the numbers. I like that. :)

I prefer playing Poker in real casinos because of the possibility to see other player´s faces.

Nevertheless at least in some situations I prefer online games because they are much less time-consuming.

Greets!

Live all the way :)

An obvious difference when playing online is not being able to see your opponents, or them not be able to see you...
It is much easier to profile opponents when playing live, especially less experienced ones who tend to give away lots of information very quickly at the table... :)

If you live in a country like mine, where there is absolutely no casinos, you have to play online, no other choice !
But I think live is much better.
At least you may avoid that scenario of losing a 98% winning chance bet on the flop/river cards, just because the online casino wants to reward the other player !

Different

This question i've asked to myself a lot but i didn't get a suitable answer, which is better? i see that if i play it in-real will actually distract me more than when i play through the Internet!

What do you think?

When you play online you can't read the physical of someone but they can,t read yours either. to make up for that i take notes of the players at the table(online). Unfortunatly when i play online i can't do different type of gestures to vary my play. Overall i prefer the thrill of a live action game. Plus where i play the food and regular drinks are free when you play regular games.

You will have to look at many different thing:

1) Which is more confortable for you.
2) Which way do you win the most.
3) How good are you at not revealing anything. Basicaly are you an open book?
4) Etc etc etc.

You should learn to crawl before learning to walk. some online you have the chance to play 1/2 cents games. when you feel that you learned enough the move up a bit.:jd4::confused::jd4:

I will always say the same word in-real, In the first place, playing in-real poker is much more interesting, exciting, the adrenaline is intensifying I can not make a comparison with playing poker online and only one important thing in-real poker I've never experienced such shocks as I've experienced playing online poker:)

Love the convenience of online, but look forward to playing more live further down the road at higher stakes. I find at live games, you really have to keep your composure during bad beats compared to online, where I can just exclaim anything I want however loud I want :D

Playing on the Internet does not give complete immersion in the atmosphere of the game. For me, it's like a virtual world. He may be interesting and beautiful, but do not convey the fullness of feelings. For example, that you feel when you swim in the sea, and not when you look at it on the TV screen.

Live is easier than online based on my research

Can you explain why better? i think the playing live is lucky than online.

Absolutely agree, the playing online is more fun and there is a no risk, at least no one can see your cards if you play online unlike live.

Live players are playing levels beyond their capability because there are no micro stakes. From my experience, the live players are just as similiar as the micro stakes players.

i think it depends on luck.
