Moving to London for Poker: What obstacles will Brexit present?

I want to move to London to play live and online poker but I was told that to be able to play in the .UK platform I would have to reside there permanently. I was also told that to be able to move there after Brexit I would have to get a work contract. I know there are a lot of non-english poker players living there so there must be a way without work contract. Does anyone know?

Making a new future for oneself in a new county is an admirable goal but often it is not that easy at all. If you are not going to work then how are you going to support yourself?

There are probably some non-British poker players residing in the country, but they could have already lived there long before the Brexit, and as such they could have received a permanent residency for some valid reason.

And don't forget that many immigrant workers also left UK during Brexit.
