I watched Spraggy raise with KK under the gun for 2.3 bb got called by 2 players
the button and the big blind. Flop is A 4 9 rainbow. The big blind bet out and he just

In my opinion, the most important factor is having patience and knowing when to play aggressively, by the time you get more chips, you stick and only go with possible winning cards. I have been playing several times that way and I have achieved several cashes.

I think that in online poker you only need luck and in live poker at the table you need luck, skill, calm and wisdom.

i'll mention just one: taking decisions depending on how much chips (blinds) you have , that's stack managing.

a) don't worry about your cards but knowing which opponent has to make the best hand or play
b) dominate with big stack but not a all in maniac

d) patience - some hands should only be played against the right opponents
e) Use your pocket pair sparingly. They are not invincible.
f) check if the hand is worth playing based on the total chips in the pot

I would add known from bridge "table presence". In order to win, you should feel your opponents - what they can have while betting/calling/raising. Do they bluff? Do they play fast, with confidence? This is certainly the hardest part to train... but it's definitely very important

My list includes

1) Patience
2) Risk Tolerance
3) Focus / Attention to Detail
4) Critical Thinking
5) Emotional/Psychological Understanding

and of course the ability to mix in a little deception via good acting can do a long way too!

for me it is to go one hand at a time, taking as much information as possible in all aspects and the strategy to apply

What I would consider as an important factor, is to mature as a player as we play ahead and look at the bigger picture to win a tournament rather risking it all in a hand.
