It is something that happened to many players. I personally have good and stable internet but nevertheless there are things that can be done to increase reliability. I always play from my laptop plugged to the power when i am at home. This way even if you loose power it will not affect you. I also keep my phone nearby so if my main internet connection drops i can easily bring up hotspot on the phone and reconnect in a minute. If the tournament s especially important you can use the hotspot from the beginning or directly play from your phone or tablet.
