As the great philosopher Marcus Aurelius once said, "You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."
This is especially true when it comes to online poker, where frustration and negative results can be a common occurrence.

As a result of having a long streak of bad luck while playing poker, with many errors and ups and downs, it has caused me to feel demotivated and want to take a break from poker. Instead of giving in to frustration, I decided to do some research and bring you a small guide, some tips, and recommendations that, like me, I hope can be helpful to someone who is not having a good run in poker. I hope it helps. In this guide, we'll explore the importance of cultivating patience and emotional awareness in order to manage frustration and achieve greater success at the poker table.

Dealing with frustration and negative results in online poker can be a challenging experience. However, it's important to remember that this is a natural part of the game and that every player goes through ups and downs. To improve your mental process and emotional management, it's important to cultivate patience and emotional awareness.

One way to do this is to take a break from the game when you start to feel frustrated or overwhelmed. Use this time to reflect on your mindset and emotions and identify any triggers or patterns that may be causing your negative feelings. Additionally, you can use this time to practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or meditation, to help you manage your emotions more effectively.

Another important factor is to set realistic expectations for yourself and your performance. Understand that winning in poker is not guaranteed, and that it takes time and effort to improve your skills and achieve consistent results. Focus on the process of improving your game rather than the outcome of individual hands or sessions.

Finally, it's important to seek support from others, whether it's through discussing strategies with fellow players or seeking professional help from a therapist or coach. Remember that you're not alone in your struggles, and that there are resources available to help you manage your emotions and improve your game.

In summary, managing frustration and negative results in online poker requires patience, emotional awareness, realistic expectations, and support from others. By cultivating these qualities and seeking help when needed, you can improve your mental and emotional well-being and achieve greater success at the poker table.

As the great poker player Phil Hellmuth once said, "If there weren't luck involved, I would win every time."
Dealing with frustration and negative results in online poker is an inevitable part of the game, but it's how you handle these challenges that can make all the difference.

I play for fun, so I always enjoy playing. I rarely feel disappointed and if I do it's only for a few minutes. I'm just enjoying the game and at the same time going step by step towards my goals :)
