i love pocket aces but its only 1pair. its hard to throw them after the flop. its crazy the hands that beat them. they say they win 80%, but to me they only win half

I easily reset AA if the flop is 987 or 108J. Well, like this! And in General, if there is no ACE on the flop, you can easily burn out.

Do not forget that two aces win 80% around only if you play face to face but if there are more players involved in the draw, then your chances of winning fall significantly !!! For some reason, many players forget about it !!!

its a good hand for pre-flop, you have to make quite big raise or re-raise to cut off the most of the players and then in head-up you have good chances to win

i recenty played a big hand with pocket aces. i was the btnw/AA. drunk was UG w/9-3off. BB QQ n ug+1 had A/ko. 1/3 match stack plays like 10/20. i btn strdle $10. sb folds. BB. QQr to $50.ug calls.UG+1rr $150. i rr$500. QQ calls .9-3 calls. AKo goes all in $1300. i go all in $1175. QQ folds. 9-3 thats got everyone covered calls. flops AQ9. t 9 r 9. wtf

Some people are physically unable to fold aces or kings.
It is a practice one shall go through - practice folding those hands if the board demands that. That is a part of a professional routine.

It's a tight rope walk with pocket aces. Great against an isolated villain, not with a multi-way. Great pre-flop, not after a flushy/straighty flop.

However, you can't get too gun shy. I love the way Andrew Neeme in his vlog always frames aces as 'the strongest hand in poker' with a smile on his face. In the past 24 hours I have had aces bust twice, with a straight wrapped around only one of the villains cards...however, I'd rather see a pair of aces than any other hand.
