with these priorities

-he returned quickly
-took a while to return
-forgot and did not retur

after these notes follow these

- I can lend again, values up to 30us
- lend lower values up to 5us
- not allowed to loan to this player

the notes are Green, Blue and Red

Maybe I'm crazy, but it's a form of protection.

is correct in his statement my friend, has a thin line between doing good and receiving evil in return

Loan is a strange thing and can cause unpleasant situations. I would not mess with loans to avoid them.

I sure hope you know these people in real life and not just online. You are much braver than I. Now are these straight loans? or are you staking people with potential profit?

Are you charging interest on the loans?? It is not a good idea only if you are staking someone you know.

yes, it must have a lot of courage, some I know, another only online

I've helped people I knew out in the past, but loaning money to poker players will eventually bite you.

If you aren't getting anything for doing it, you are essentially giving out negative freerolls which by definition cannot work out well for you.

Better off donating to charity or taking your friends out for a fun evening IMO.

now you've said everything, it's really the best thing to do, I'm no longer lending to anyone, the good ones are now paying for the bad, but that's life.
Today a friend asked me, but can you sell me some dollars?
I replied that I could not even do this from ... jejejejejethe result of me being a good person and believing in other people, 350 dollars ... if I do not receive anything, will not be needed, thanks to my God, so I did my part

When I try to help someone , I don't consider it a loan , like if I want to help a friend to start with a small bankroll etc... I just send him without considering it a loan , because the person just started , so you have to give him a chance

I never regret my actions, let it be very clear, what I wanted to put is the fact that people borrow you and do not honor the combination, would not be better to ask for a sponsorship without having to return the money ???
I would definitely do anything to help in the same way, after all it will not be some dollars that made me richer, or poorer

Gambling debts are specifically, legally, unenforceable in my state. For that reason, cash plays and there's no credit. Personal loans between players are discouraged. I am sure they happen, but they are high risk. I used to loan money to my step-brother, but I never got all of it back. That's a several hundred dollar lesson that I have no interest in repeating.

If someone really wants to borrow money in a game, they better have some collateral that I am interested in.

since it is a loan, do you have a lien on the ppl who borrows the money, in case if no return?

I do not loan to people as I have been burnt a couple of times pretty bad but I respect your reasons and thank you for helping others in our community.

I hear ya, but you do need to learn to say no. I personally don't mind giving money out especially if someone needs it. However I also don't give out a lot either for I am not a bank. You start asking for 100 or more, there had better be a "real" legit reason why. Then you better pay me back like you said or you'll never get another dime from me.

i don't have the balls to ask anybody to lend me money to play with...if ur broke build it up through freerolls, then you get to keep all of your friends

I also have friends who play poker and I know them personally, I sometimes help them send money and when they raise their bankroll they return my debt and they help me too when I need to raise a bankroll it's a good way to help friends for the game in poker, and I would like to have more friends in the game
so that they helped me and I helped them!

I also give loan to people but in cents.only known poker friends.

I think many people dont repay when u ask them for the money back so you should only lend money to people u can trust fully and reliable people you have gotten to know over time.

Lending $ online hasnt worked that great for me, I found I usually ended wasting more time than it was worth chasing people down who didnt pay. Think the ole adage is correct "neither a borrower or a lender be".

On these occasions I sent sponsorship of 0.50 1.00, 1.50, 2.20I kept watching these players when they entered the tables, was a disappointment, they played without interest and soon they were eliminated, soon after they asked for another help

one thing I liked to participate was here in CC, players do programming of games and put the sale, I already participated in some, I realized that everybody plays with interest, if they can not give a financial return, they return with explanations of how their game, this I call transparency.

I try to give money to players if I gave them. Small money just as a gift.

When somebody lost money to me, sometimes I ask does he have money for a taxi.

Some people I borrowed money forgot me same day, act like I'm a new person for them ))

Few times tried to get money but it's harder to give money then to take (

trying to be nice...

if you can't afford to play - then play with free chips /play money , I would never ask anyone for cash to play

Adding interest will make no difference - you will still need to chase them for the payment - good luck with getting repaid , and if anyone is sympathetic enough to keep "giving " money to other players , then they better never expect it back. The only way anyone should play for cash is if they have $100 or more they can afford to flush down the toilet .... as whether or not anyone wants to admit - it is more luck then skill when playing poker or any other game of "chance"
Anyone who manages to get money from other players , is using the system and praying on people who care. ( they are everywhere)

I liked this part of the story when you were beaten, and it's unclear why you are unhappy, because the money was returned to you, and the game took place

I'm a member of a few poker forums/Facebook groups and I see so many loans being defaulted on. Unfortunately, many scammers have ruined the prospect of me loaning again. I was among many that were defrauded by a player who traded PayPal for ACR funds. Got me for a few hundred. In total he made off with thousands. Many victims. Since then I'm soured on the idea of loaning.

you shouldn't loan any money to any body they'll end up loosing all and come back for more cause they won't take care of it cause it's not their money, let them put their money and they'll start winning

I only borrow money for one poker player. And this money is not for poker. He lives in another city, and I have never seen him. But thanks to him I learned about many good tournaments in which I won good money. And who plays well, they always have money. For a bad player, other people's money will not help.
