Yes great question.

There was a moment when my intuition told me to call in an all in cash game and I had jack jacks and guess how much I won ahhhh I won nothing by the way I lost 18 $ because the villain had a 98765 strath Flush and I JJJJ but the I get it right the intuition that I'm going to win a triple all in with linked cards and I end up doing a beautiful sequence.

In Poker, intuition is not everything you have to be lucky and know how to fold too.

But winning or losing is part of poker.:)

I very often intuitively want to press to make a call, but I lack courage)

Sometimes I let my intuition do the job to make some calls.

Hi.
I rarely rely on intuition. I am more inclined to rely on my own skills and experience. But if your intuition allows you to increase your bankroll then it is great and you should keep going.
Good luck.

I like to tune into my mind, gut, heart, intuition and consider what they all have to say.

Overruling a strong gut feeling seems to lead to disappointment more than not in my experience.. :)

Pretty sure I rely on my intuition more than would be ideal!

Not much to be done about that until getting a PC & tracker sorted out though! :boring:

Intuition sometimes tells me that the opponent has a stronger hand and yet I pay because I also have a beautiful hand and I would be sorry to throw it! Unsatisfactory result :(

My intuition tells me.. i like the look of this hand. Then 2 players go all in.. i fold because my cards arnt exactly the best for all in pre flop.. J 8 suited for example.. then i see the flop 8 8 J.. kickin myself i knew i should of went in.. but then my intuition tells me AK suited i could possible go all in. My guts telling me to.. only to see that i lose to someone who called J 8 suited and hit a full house on the flop.. so intuition.. or statistic influenced intuition.. sometimes hard to distinghish

Yeah, always. It speaks about cues we consciously don't notice. The problem is when you don't really trust it, you will betray yourself. When having a hunch, remember the FIRST feeling that came. Introspection and analysis are necessary to identify, but mine is almos always right. Go with it.

For me, every game is an amazing story with intuition. When I go all-in and there is a feeling of the end of the game - so in the end it turns out. Even boring. Shockingly boring.

Awesome stories with intuition are just the usual coincidences of falling cards and your imagination. I do not believe in this and always protect myself from thoughts that what I need will now fall on the table. To confirm my statements, there is a simple mathematical pattern of cards falling out.

As far as I understand intuition, this is knowledge that you have deposited in the far corners of your memory, repetitive situations that are not clearly postponed, but exist in the subcortex. And when the right situation comes, but you don't pay attention to it, your intuition speaks of your vision of playing a hand in poker.
I know a lot of players who play only on intuition and do not pay attention to the development of their knowledge of poker.
But I also know that intuition alone cannot hold out for the whole tournament, all the more intuition can fail. But I play some hands myself purely intuitively, but only in the case when I enter state A.

What is intuition? This is your inner feeling and it is like luck is always different.Either he's telling the truth or he's trying to fall.So I would not advise relying on it, although people are different and anticipate situations on the front.

I almost always trust my intuition and it is usually correct :)

The few times I decide against it is typically because of pot odds and then I call and see what I "knew" intuitively and should have folded. I have so many crazy stories relating to intuition. I won't type them into detail here because that could be a book on its own lol. I've got hero calls, folding AA, sick folds of Full House over Full House and many more.

I think every poker player has these stories come up for them sometimes, but it seems like I get way more of them than the average player and I know it is in large part because my intuition has served me well

Sometimes I rely on intuition, but my intuition is based on my skills and 10 years of experience. Usually, if beginners start to rely on intuition, then it is no longer poker but a game of bingo.

Once I flopped a set of tens. But the flop was very draw-heavy. Flush and straight-draws were possible. I had 4 opponents. 3 did a lot of action. I knew that I would only win with a full house. I took the risk and i got the full house while one of my opponents was finishing his nut flush. I won a big pot with it. I have a rough strategy that I follow, but every now and then you have to play freely according to intuition. But I would never fold kings preflop, even if I was sometimes right about my opponent holding pocket aces. Even if my opponent already goes all in preflop. I still don't fold pocket kings preflop.

We call it a "chuyka game", there are a lot of people who do not use statistics, and they play very well and feel their opponents, this is poker psychology

Intuition is that feeling in your gut when you instinctively know that something you are doing is right or wrong. While understanding intuition offers a considerable challenge for science, broadly speaking, it involves “learned responses that are not the outcomes of deliberate processes”. While intuition occurs in your day-to-day life, it is sometimes most apparent in the decisions of experts. The specialist draws on years of experience, held in unconscious frameworks, to make fast, high-quality decisions. I guess that happens to poker players. And I really think intuition needs to be obeyed.

Intuition helps you to guess the opponents cards. So is he just bluffing or does he really have the straight or flush?
But at the ends the cards decides who have won the pot and not the intuition. So you just can use intuition to decide if you want to call e.g the all in or fold. It is also important to fold in the right moment.

For sure. Especially when you are about to catch a bluff-situation, or trying to make one. Next to your knowledge you have to use your intuitions as well.

Intuition, as a prediction of the opponent's actions, sometimes prompts to do the right action, and the hands do the opposite, therefore, when choosing from three actions, when doubt arises, it is better to change the decision and do otherwise.
