Luck is merely coincidence followed by a favourable consequence. Our brain is a curious thing constantly looking for new information. When we win out of the blue, rather than just accept coincidence our brain will seek to make a metaphysical connection: the coin picked up from the floor, that thing you did differently that day., a talisman in a pocket that someone gave you.
Poker wins are through a series of chaotic events and calculations physical perception and perceived risk vs reward.
If one wants to win more
Play/ practice more
Memorise the basic math at various points play
Play different games you may find one that particularly suits you. It could be because of the speed or numerics of that particular game.
Luck/coincidence may occur between 10&30% of your game. But I wouldn't rely on it.
In a game born from chaos which progresses through numeracy and psychology to an end point. To then appropriate mysticism to an object/act seems absurd.
But, hey. If a talisman of any sort helps you so be it.
But, its not for me.
Wasn't it a professional golf player that said, " The more I practice. The luckier I get." ☺
