I'd start by figuring out what your motivation is to pursue professional poker.I want to be a professional poker player. I'm not sure if it's for me. Any advice? Is it possible for a mere mortal like me to be a pro or is it just for people born with special talent for poker? How should I start?

I don't want to be a pro... because I know it's as difficult as being a professionnal soccer player. A lot of candidates but only a few players managing to make poker a profitable job. So good luck !I want to be a professional poker player. I'm not sure if it's for me. Any advice? Great answer! If you have access to both, try both, and then you'll know which one is best for you. I don't recommend one or the other, as each person has a learning mode, so I recommend testing both.
