Has anyone out there got a couple hundred bucks they want to invest in my skills? I just had a conversation with a friend about how "well" i've been doing with a $10 bankroll and .05/.10 tables and he asked why I don't play higher stakes. I told him I just don't have the bankroll to take to a $10/$20 table and I would just be sick if I lost it. He said I should get a benefactor who would bankroll me for a percentage of my profits. I thought it was a great idea, so I'm advertising here for a benefactor. I'd split the profit 70%/30% with the benefactor getting the 70%, of course. I'm writing this message kind of tongue-in-cheek--but, hey, you never know if anyone out there has $$$ and doesn't know what to do with it!

If you havn't played at the higher tables before and have just been sticking to the .5/.10 tables its a whole different ball game.

I would take the time to work your way up and get more experience if you havn't otherwise you are likely to find it tough going.

Just takes some perseverance though and I am sure you can work your way there.

like grumble said. Higher tables are another game....

Build your bankroll with low-staks and try after.. You'll see the differents soon...

Poker Bene....

Take heed to everyones advice. 9 out of 10 times people playing in a small stakes table don't really care about their play. What I'm trying to say is there is a huge difference between .5 cents and $10. Your method of play will change significantly when you have that much money riding on it.

If you can build up a decent sized Bankroll playing the smaller stakes table take that and ease into the higher stakes game.

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST AND "GOD SPEED"

Thanks for the advice guys! I agree with what you've said and I guess I'll have to wait for the lottery to kick in so I can try my luck at higher stakes =)

Hey, to the guy before me, I was born in Brookings, SD and have family all over NESODAK--
