It really depends on the definition of “better”. Are we saying the best in... cash games? MTT? Sit'n'gos? Poker variants? Professional earnings? and so on...
Judging “overall” as the best players with respect to overall skill, I'd probably say that the three best are (in no particular order)
1) Phil Ivey
2) Phil Hellmut
3) Daniel Negreanu
However, I will say that I am a little surprised by the number of posts that matched my 3-player roster. These 10 players are high-level poker professionals and someone could probably defend any of them 😎
Hello brother
You know what's going on, that what you're saying is true.
It's very difficult to recognize 3 of all of these.
How do you leave the legend Doyle Brunson below the rest??? A man who said that there were players at a table who could play them “without looking at my cards” hahaha old Doyle was a phenomenon.
Not to mention the number of players on the sidelines who weren't mentioned, such as Stu Ungar, or Scotti Nguyen, or Chris Moneymaker, or Greg Raymer, Jhonny Chan, one of the newest retired Jason Mercier, uuufff there are so many to name, that the list would be endless.
My regards, brother
