It's hard to lose everything, but you need to tune in to win. I mostly lost about $ 100 on roulette and won that amount in cash games the next month. I had a great desire to return the lost money. That was my sad experience. I don't play roulette anymore. ))

Hello. Try a couple of things: play 1cent/2cent cash games. Read Rainbird79 articles to help it all make sense. It should work. Play tight, bet late position. Good luck.

Hello well, it has happened to me several times, but the important thing is to recover not only what you have lost but also mentally, because a misplaced head will turn you into a losing player.

Many times years ago when it was only my own money. But now I consider my bankrool a capital goods. Actually I included a partners share in my bankroll, and responsible for it. Can not afford to lose it anymore.

It happened to me twice when I started with online poker but it was with money I got from welcome bonuses.
Now I have a good bankroll management and I hope it won't happen to me again ;)

Not once at poker. I stick to very strict bankroll management. I used to deal with trading and completely destroyed a small account several times. The mistake: The risk per transaction was too high. The lesson I learned: I do not risk more than 0.2% of my bankroll per tournament in poker.

In addition, I do not risk more than 1 % of the bankroll per day. If I play 3 - 5 tournaments a day and lose, I stop playing. This has the charming advantage of not being frustrated and constantly being on tilt. And if anyone knows about being on tilt or being frustrated, it's ME. Freeroll tournaments do not fall in this category and I can play as many as there are.

It all sounds extremely tight and conservative - for me it worked.

Well a number 5x due to getting it all in with the best of it but losing on the river in cash and tournament situ. Guess need to think long term but it is difficult when the calling stations keep making the miracle card.

I could not even guess a number. If you are only on 3 times then you have nothing to feel bad about. Heck, even the pros bust there roll sometimes

when I just started playing it happened very often then experience and understanding of the game came, I started working on the game and analyzing my mistakes as a result, as long as I manage to play with a plus

When i first started playing seriously @6 or so months ago, i did not know what a bankroll really was. I started with $100 and went through it fairly quickly.
Once i learned what it a bankroll was, i have reloaded only once since. Granted that seems to be dwindling.
I also had to realize that i was playing too many higher stakes then my bankroll allowed.

I never busted my bankroll.

I have a good control on how to spend my money on tournaments or cash games.

The fastest way to bust your roll is to let Bet on Lies insert and twist. A disgusting site that doesn't follow the math of poker is the surest way to lose. KK vs 55, they'll give that puhuqer a four card flush, just to keep the rake moving. Total piece of c ra p outfit. They offer a free roll on Wednesdays and that's how the grooming starts. I've put in 500 bux over 5 years and currently have 70 bux and about a third of a rectum, courtesy Cheat on Line.

So far, I have never been able to lose my entire bankroll in the way I try to approach this issue, carefully working out each perfect action.

Too many times to count but when you're a "recreational" player like myself you tend not to get down on yourself when you go bust because you're playing for fun. I reload from time to time from my sportsbooks I bet at at since every place I play takes bitcoin and are part of Sportsbetting sites like BetOnline, Everygame poker and Bovada. So when I go bust I typically don't take money from my paycheck or savings just to play poker.
