You just need to maintain an interest in the game, find a way to make it entertaining for you. Such as predicting what someone will do, or what
hands they may have. See if you are right, and then make some more predictions.
After many hours at a table it is easy to get bored, throwing another table in the mix can help to keep you interested. If its too much, then find another interest in the table you are currently playing. Maybe put on some music.
If i for instance have someone watching TV in the background, ill put music on to help counteract that. I cant listen to interesting things in the background if i want to focus, no matter what my ears and brain will catch it and start listening. After that my focus will shift to at least 50% on the background noise, so i have to counteract this with my own gray noise. Thats usually when i put some music on.
Ideally i would want a place that is distraction free to play in, this for sure would help to maintain focus.
