How long should i leave it after a big loss

I’m fairly new to poker and I need to learn how to control tilt. Once i take a big loss i start becoming really inpatient. I understand that this will come with experience but is there anything else that I can do to speed the process up. I’m thinking that I should start leaving it for a day or so after an unlucky loss to realign myself. Do you guys do anything like this or is there anything else that I can do.
