If you don't have good bankroll management, you could lose your entire bankroll in a short time, knowing when to stop is also very important, and playing with the buy in compatible with your bankroll

I suppose I am lucky, I never have regretted losing money at any time in my life. My Father was a seasoned Gambler and he instilled in me a Mantra that was "If you cannot afford to lose it, Don't use it!"
I am 69 years old now and never regretted losing at any time, Yes I have had bad days at the Racetrack where I couldn't pick a single winner, but if you prepare for that, Losing money is not such a bad thing. Being in control of your losses is far more important than most people realise.
Some people set aside a certain amount for Bills or Holiday's etc each Week/Month or whatever and stick to it religiously, This is a simple form of Bankroll Management Same with gambling, You save money each Week/Month that is to be used for gambling and stick to your limits. That way you really cannot be in the hole too deep so as not to be able to dig yourself out of it.
I might have a few regrets in my Life but gambling is way down towards the bottom of the list,

however, it is better to spend this money on your children than on gambling etc

It has been heard about employees of commercial companies who lose money from their company in a short time by gambling.
Strangely, a person cheats millions only to lose them and become even more unhappy.
What is the biggest amount you have lost and then regretted ?
In poker, I didn't spend more than $20-30 at a time. But I spent quite a lot on betting. Once I lost about 1700 euros in one go. I was betting while drunk and did something stupid. I regretted it for a long time, a very long time.

around 250 i was angry playing badly and ran into some very unlucky hands higher pockets to pockets dont fold....Yet? I didnt mind it after that moment basically....Luck works out might take a bit but if you keep moving forward it swings etc...you got to capitalize when lucky over regretting when not

If you’re not careful then it is easy to lose money playing poker. Depending how much you gamble with and how often dictates how much you can lose.

If you gamble with smaller amounts and only gamble with money you are willing and able to afford to lose then you can avoid disasters.

None... I always play freerolls and the amount raised I turn into a buy-in to play tournaments.

About 10 years ago in PS with 100 units I managed to gain around 4000 units. I remember using 2000 units to go on vacation for a long time. And the other 2000 units I lost in 2 days, I lost 1000 units in big tournaments, and I remember getting angry and playing a game of 1000 units head-to-head and losing it. I suppose I was still satisfied because with 100 units I had already won a good vacation.

I think you lose money very quickly when you don't have training and also when you are not mentally prepared to play and the tilt starts and that makes you lose much more.

I think if you buy a lottery, you have a chance to win a lot of money tomorrow, but the chance is very, very small. But it is a chance nonetheless. As for poker, those who are looking for quick and easy money usually end up disappointed and poor :)

How quickly can you lose money playing poker? As quickly as you want.
If you don’t play consciously, you can lose as much as you want. In my personal case, I’ve hardly lost anything because I only play freerolls or with friends, and the amount we bet is very small.
Managing your money responsibly is, I believe, more important than knowing how to play the game.

A legtöbb, amit elvesztettem és megbántam, 20 dollár volt, letettem, és körülbelül 15 perccel később mindent elvesztettem
2 dollars nm a lot.You almost did not lose
