I'll tell you what......I've found that
online poker does seem to favor certain players....a friend of mine let me play his rake freeroll that had a 5K prize pool, he was out of town.....I finished 2nd i rolled through them like a dozer...in the end i suffered bad beats to claim 2nd and $1100....I firmly believe if you want the good cards and you want to make money then you deposit every day and play every day...the more you deposit the more you are worth and i don't want to say it but i played in a vip account and vip accounts get better cards...simple as that....i watch him play and his cards are usually good in the fact that he does not suffer the blows i do...like for instance...i flop a straigh and a guy hits flush on river...this does not happen to him....i flop a set and guy hits straight on river...this does not happen to him....I have QQ and go against AA this does not happen to him....i can go on and on about how things don't happen to him as they happen to me....I can only believe it is because he deposits every day, the site call him when he has not deposited in a week and offer him outrageous deals to deposit...i wathced him deposit $200 to get a free ticket to the $500+30 at AP...that is outrageous...so if you want to make money, deposit everyday and the perks alone will make it worth while...but in the meantime play hard and smart and learn and evolve and you may gain the confidence needed to behave in such a manner.....
I will also tell you that this player deposits $100 and goes straight to 1/2 sometimes he may only last 10 minutes...but usually he does well...then he will play some (small)SNG's while moving up to 2/4 straight away...he don't give a damn about bankroll management....and this guy withdrew over 100k last year while depositing 20k constantly has checks showing up and running down to walmart to make his moneygram deposits.....his biggest cashouts come from PS,then BD then AP then FT....in that order on the amount he cashes out when he's on his game he will cash out 5k-10k at PS if it's
bodog like 3K AP 2 k and FT 1k....so if you are looking for the big money and the ability to roll up the ladder PS is where you want to do it...mind you he deposits like 5x before he gets a check but when he finally gets his check it's well more then his deposits
If he was not a drunk who goes hog wild at the end of every night losing all the 2-3k he won, if he would just go to bed....he would win more...so the key is deposit, deposit,deposit....and get on the phone with the site ...you would be shocked at what they will give you after you have reached their VIP...and don't forget your rakeback...and never underestimate the FPP tourneys you get...i'm seen him win them so many times and get the $500+ entries and unregister to receive $T....or win multiple times at sites that do not allow unreg....then they are forced to give ya the $T
1 more thing to ADD..If he''s not playing, he's WATCHING....he never played his oppponent before he sits with them...he will watch for a week a big money guy....he will get his rush and sit with them and invariably hand them their ass then disappear...so .... play how you want but the only person i know who cashes huge checks of of $100-200 deposits is this guy and he clears his account every time he withdrawls....and they beg him to make deposits...they beg him to play....he usually makes vip at any site within a month...and then when he achieves his VIP his cards become better and more profitable and his perks outrageous...banging out FPP tourneys....because they grow so fast as a VIP....anyhow...like i said he jumps from level to level...many,many people find a level and stay there...these people are his prey he has them at every level and he know them better then they know themselves because what they don't realize is he is watching them planning his next coup on his way up the ladder...if he's at $1000 for the day...right to 5-10..and a a couple of $20 SNG's...all of it on the line...if you are concerned with what u will have after you lose...(bankroll management) are you not setting yourself up to lose? afterall you only started with $100 and you set out to gamble, if you lose 1 or 2 k at the end did you really lose 1-2k? no, you lost $100, can you have the discipline to cash out? do you have the drive and balls to go for the big money? Few do, but i seen it work many, many ,many times when you win you win big, when you lose...it's only $100...but you can be satisfied with the fact that you took your best shot, not pansy around...
