I consider very dangerous poker game and also very exciting, dangerous because if you do not have control, you sink financially and exciting because you can win a match judging lost and lose a match that judges earn.

dangerous??
If you don't have it under controll, just like any other addiction.
Exciting, very, :)

Challenging, to play agains huge pool of people in MTT, or multi tabling on cash games.
Relaxing, I play mostly for fun to relax, and have really good BRM controll.

It is a very exciting game, with a lot of action, with many ups and downs. It needs a measure in play so that to have an economic control. It needs maths and good psycology and it needs luck. A very interesting mix!

Remember a Jim Carey's movie 'The Mask'?
In my definition, the better you are at deception, the better your poker skill is.
If you are someone that are totally different from on and off the table, then you are considered a successful player.
A normal human being off the table, a superhuman with a mask on the table.

Poker is not a dangerous game, here you can adjust your losses depending on your adequacy and sanity. Any games in the casino are much more dangerous, starting with slot machines and ending with roulette.

For me, poker is a fun and addictive, revenue-generating game. And for me, I do not see anything dangerous in this game.

I would say that poker was more dangerous for me, I lost a lot in the beginning when I didn’t understand many things and didn’t control the bankroll, now for me poker is more fun I try to win something and no lose my bankroll less, I wish you also lose less and try always win more and raise good prizes!

Personally, poker for me is a favorite hobby but no more. I do not consider the game dangerous because I usually play freerolls.

I define poker as the game where math and logic most intersect. The “feel” part of the game is often actually logic based on our knowledge and assumptions about our opponents. The math part, like it or not, is always there and a tremendous factor in every single action we take.

I wasn’t a “math person” before poker and probably outside of poker never will be, but the math within the game is as fascinating as the logic. I’m grateful for the duality and complexities of both—as I expect this game will keep me entertained for my whole life! :)

I agree and it's the same with me never been a maths person at all. I find the maths side of the game fascinating though my problem is I struggle to do the calculations in real time at the table before the time bank is up and the hand folded [emoji23][emoji23].

In my opinion, this type of answers and way of thinking, come from a widespread misinformation on the subject, mixed with the fear of the unknown.!!

We have a false sense of believing that everything is under control, considering that we know a lot about football, basketball or tennis, because exactly the same thing can be applied to the poker.!
Many people think that with knowing the rules and win once in a while to their friends in the cafeteria of the university, are prepared to wager money that should not be in the rooms online, and that is where the problems can appear. Especially, if a good streak accompanies them in the beginning and reinforces their belief that they are good players.

That is why I said that even if you think that poker is not a game of chance, if you don't understand the variance are going to give you a blow of reality sooner or later, since if you start winning, you're going to think that it is because you are a better player than the others. But be sure that the variance remembers all…

This is what makes al poker so attractive for the amateur players, the false sense of believing that you are best player of who you really are, by the fact of winning a few items to someone who in principle knows more than you about the game.

While that poker is a game of people against people, mind against mind, skill and understanding of the strategy that one has, against the rest of players.

And it is impossible that, in the long term, the player more prepared and that more has studied does not end up winning. This There are many people who no you think about it nor understand it, hence the fact that so many consider poker a game of chance.

True ignorance is not absent from knowledge, but the fact of refusing to acquire it. written by Karl Popper

Unfortunately, lack of control is a human problem, not a card problem. I think each one chooses their destiny and if you don't have an emotional base, yet adventure is tragedy announced. But I have no mercy ...
