Think about when you first came to CardsChat and what your poker skills looked like then. Have your skills improved since joining? If yes, how do you gauge that progress? Are you playing higher stakes/buy-ins? More wins under your belt? Or maybe just lasting longer in games and tournaments?

If not, what do you think would help you to improve?

The CardsChat community has helped me a lot. First of all, I can say that the community has actually helped me financially. I don't earn enough money to spend money on the game, and since I became a member of the community, I've stopped spending my own money on poker altogether. I just play in our freerolls, increase my bankroll, and try to invest this money as a buy-in in good promising freerolls. In addition, I believe that the players in our community are mostly quite skilled and experienced, and therefore, playing with players of this level is always an opportunity to improve yourself. I've definitely become better than I was, thanks to our community.

CC has improved my game beyond recognition.

As somebody who doesn't have access to regular live games it was an invaluable tool to building up strategies against regular opponents.

Most online cash sites have such a wide and changing player pool but playing in team events and other CC games throughout the years has improved my game so much. It has allowed me to try different strategies, some more successful than others.

There is a lot of material to study, and with the money from the freerolls it gives you the opportunity to play real money tournaments.
When I came to cardschat I only played freerolls and from time to time real money tournaments, now I play more real money tournaments, but I always have to withdraw money, and that has affected me in being able to level up, I hope I can level up soon.

TBH, I can't say that my game has improved since I joined CC. My justification for that is that I always had healthier BRs (Online) before CardsChat. But I also have to precise that before CC, I played more live games.
Adjusting to CC players was not an easy task, but it made me lose "my touch" in games that were more profitable for me money-wise.
But CardsChat has such a great community and sooner or later, it becomes your "virtual" family...

I joined Cardschat 8 years ago especially due to the good freerolls they offered at pokerstars. At that time I only played there.Years later, I could play the daily freerolls on 888 , party poker and even ACR.Those games helped me both increase my bankroll and improve my game.Despite the fact I can´t play them from my country anymore I am always grateful to the forum and try to stay as an active member. Thanks CC!

Before coming here, I didn't understand what it was like to play. I can't say that I understand it well now, but it's still a little better than before.
judging by the results, they're honestly crappy, but it's only my fault, my incontinence.
I read and watched the wonderful CardsChat course, read all the advice of our professionals, it's all great. However, the person himself is not always able to use his knowledge correctly.
Of course I manage to get to the top sometimes, which is good news, but it happens as rarely as the long-awaited rain in the desert. however, the CardsChat world has become very dear to me. great events, favorite freerolls, teammates, great administrators and moderators who do a great job for us so that we can enjoy all kinds of games. I can't imagine my life without this forum. and I'm very afraid that all vpn will be blocked someday. By the way, YouTube has become bad for us. I think these are all the intrigues of the authorities:cry:.
In general, good health to everyone involved, I love everyone)))
and good luck everyone at the tables))) (y) (y)

I Joined CardsChat in Sep 8, 2013 but because my English wasn't that good, I wasn't active for a few years and I was just lurking around and try to 'steal' from here and there to improve my game for free as for sure- there's no other way to say it- I was just a bad poker player...

Even without being active, just by reading articles and threads made by different CC members or using the free poker tools, my game improved by a lot and the best way to notice it was my results in the HGs I had(and still have to this day), as from one of the weakest players and someone that always 'donated' money- I've quickly become one of the better players and someone that won often(this are friendly games and we play mostly for fun- really small amount of money but there has to be something for everyone to take the games seriously); and I've seen similar improvement in my results in the local poker club and also in the games I've played online... so, I've decided to be active on the forum too: IIRC I've started with a 'journal' with a bankroll challenge* which was pretty successful on 888poker(from 0 to 'hero'), though at some point I gave up posting there as I had some other projects going on IRL and I've also become more active in other CC threads where I've thought I had a better chance to help other community members(like for example the betting thread where I'm still quite active to this day...); what I want to say is that CC helped me not only improve my poker game but also improve my English language and even my social skills...

I can write a lot more lol, but to get back on topic and make it short: Yes - my poker skills improved by a lot since joining CardsChat, I have a lot more wins in the games I play(I feel comfortable playing in pretty high stakes) and maybe something that's the most important- I've learned that you need to keep up with the changes in the poker world and don't give up on studying/ improving your poker game!

Thank you CC and the team that works so hard for us without asking anything in return ❤️

It has improved my game. When CC had Frolls on my site, I would note the players who were high in the ladder, or took me out of Froll tourney more than one. I kept notes on the better players . I make notes on the sites where you can keep track of the players.

Hi :)
I have been a member of the community for over 5 years. I can definitely say that thanks to my participation in the CardsChat community, I have improved my poker skills and gained a lot of valuable experience. I even think that without the community, it's quite possible that I wouldn't be playing poker right now.

I will say that all the information on the forum is good.It is important to note that each person learns differently. What works for one person may not work for another. The main idea of the game is to roll and make money! There is simply no other way to become great at poker if you spend most of your time just watching it, talking about it, or reading books about it.When you play millions and millions of hands of poker like I did, you will start to notice that situations will repeat themselves over and over again. If you want to stand out from the crowd and become truly great at this game, you will need to be able to learn from your mistakes and think for yourself.I think the Cardchat poker forum has come a long way in the last few years.Studying together regularly on a forum or with your poker friends, and discussing your hands with them is another great way to improve your game. Although rare, these groups should be taken seriously and run in the same way as business seminars.

First of all, CardsChat provides me and other players with the opportunity to learn how to play poker and hone their skills in tournaments, and there is nothing more important than practice, but perfection is still very far away.

the lessons have been good even though I haven't finished them, but also the opportunity to play against people often builds up the skill

For me, CardsChat has immensely improved my poker skills. Playing in the team league for as many seasons as I have improved my tournament game just on its own, but interacting and dissecting hands with other members and going through the 30 day course has helped me improve my cash game and SNG strategy over the years

This is actually a funny question to me because I've been recently thinking how I've changed since I've been with CardsChat. When I first joined up I knew I had a few skills but I really wasn't sure if I was a good player or just the bad one.

Have my skills improved since joining? Drastically improved would be the right word. I did fine before cards chat as I was a student of the game even before joining here but once I joined I started to expand where I got my knowledge along with my knowledge. Cards chat has been a help in my growth of a game I can honestly say that but I also have expanded drastically again to other areas to get more advanced knowledge than I ever had before.
How do I gauge my process? It's a mix of a lot of things and some of the next questions our part of the answer. But one of the biggest differences in my game today is how I go about playing and thinking of poker. In the past when I looked at my hand and on the flop I would make an very quick determination how to act but today I have a drastically different thought process. I don't just make a quick determination but I actually think about multiple ways of playing the hand at that time to determine which is the best play to make at this time depending on the players I am against. It's also how I look at the game And use my skills to determine that best action.

I have moved up to higher stakes, but I'm mostly still in the same stakes as I was Prior to joining cardschat. This is due to the legalities of poker where I live and I really just play for the entertainment of the game.

Do I have more wins under my belt you better believe I do. Bye did win tournaments before joining CC I am winning more and bigger events than I ever did before. A lot of this is due to CC and the games I could play here to learn and apply what I learned to the beginning in the free rolls. Could I be lasting longer in tournaments it's possible, but I really don't know if that would be an accurate thing for me to say or deny.

What do I think would help to improve? I'm really not sure what CardsChat could honestly do at this point and I'm afraid anything I say would look or come off as a complaint and it's not. It's not that CC doesn't give a lot right now but I am trying to become a more advanced thinking player. Well I don't ever plan to become a professional or supplement an income I do have hopes of dreams to achieve a goal so I am trying to go farther than most people would to become a better player to win that event. I do train a lot to get to that goal. As for what would help me I've decided to not put that here as I'm concerned it wouldn't be appropriate for me to do that but if any of the team wants to know please message me or if you want I can posted here. It just feels wrong for me to do it and again I don't want it to come off as a complaint. It's not meant to be that I just can see others taking it wrong.

Thanks to the community and the wonderful CardsChat freerolls, I gained a very valuable experience and improved my skills significantly. I've been playing poker since 2018, and I became a member of the community in August 2021, and since August 2021, my results have started to improve and now they are much better than they were before, all thanks to my membership in CardsChat :)

While at Cards Chat I completed the 30 day poker course. That's the first formal training that I've had since that time I went to sixth grade for three day's for my sister when she was sick.

Once upon a time CardsChat had the leaderboard and I could see my progress and how I was rated stacked up to the other players playing on CardsChat. That really helped a lot because it gave me something to measure up against.

Now we get to play in special event games like The Olympics that is played on weekends now. That is a way to be in a competitive environment that has a scorecard so you can measure up. That series has players from all over the planet and makes you improve your game to earn money and accolades.

What would help me to improve would be if there was some kind of scorecard for the community games on Replay. We have a diverse group playing that and a scorecard of some kind would go a long ways to seeing how well I stack up against the competition.

I've been a member of the community for over 5 years now, and it's probably only thanks to CardsChat that I keep playing poker. Our freerolls and VIP events that are held regularly are the biggest motivation for me. And, of course, given the high level of play of our members, I feel that my game is improving every year.

It has probably improved significantly! It is a daily exercise, so you must always be improving yourself to make the best possible decisions. The community encourages you to constantly follow poker and improve every day. It was through the community that I had the opportunity to experiment new formats and play live through the online experience, which i had never done before.

CardsChat is a community that provides its members with very obvious benefits. Free, high-quality training materials, an excellent 30-day beginner's course, daily and weekly freerolls, all of which allow any member of the community to get better results and regularly build up their bankroll. I was smart enough to create an account at CardsChat and use all these advantages. Now my results are quite good, my bankroll is growing and I am very happy with my participation in the community.

I believe my game has improved, whenever possible I have asked more experienced players some questions here, and I considered most of the advice very valid.
Due to my mistakes outside the game I lost a good chance to level up, but I consider C.C. to be a fundamental part because I did not give up playing in the face of my frustrations.

CardsChat definitely helped me improve my skills. And the daily CardsChat freerolls helped me to increase my bankroll. I've been playing poker for over 12 years, and I've been a member of the community for over 6 years. My only regret is that I didn't join the community the day I first started playing poker.
