Been having a rough time for the last 4 weeks! pokerstars! I have lost almost half of my bankroll at the $1 sng's,2c/5c rng,and $1-$3 mtt's.Can't seem to do anything right. Can't hit even with the best of starting hands.Just played a tourney where I played EXTREMELY tight and won 1 hand!!! I got knocked out with pocket 8's.That was the best hand I saw and went all-in because I was about to be blinded out! Just don't understand it! I haven't changed my game! In fact I am doing well at fulltilt!
I know what you are saying. It's variance.I understand about variance, but for4 weeks? Come-on!So,I have decided to take a break from Pokerstars for a while and re-evaluate my gameplan!!!!!!
I know there isn't much info to go on but any advice would be appreciated!

lol! ok!
Well, here is my 2 cents.
I have not had any experience with playing on multiple sites, so my advice might be completely stupid. I believe that you should withdraw everything from pokerstars, as you obviously feel more comfortable at FTP, and deposite all of your former pokerstars bankroll into FT, and build that up. Then, when you feel comfortable enough to transfer back over to pokerstars, deposit however much you feel comfortable depositing, and start your pokerstars career once again.

This advice most likely sucks.

But how many hands has it been. Check out Chris Ferguson's loss of 2/3 of his bankroll on his freeroll to 10k. I think its more important to consider the number of hands you've played instead of the duration. Today I got dealt pkt AA 3 x within 50 hands - I know the odds say 1 in 120 - so sooner or later, I'm in for a dry spell for the pkt AA. GL at the tables.

Refer to the Seinfeld episode about the overuse of exclamation points.

Edit: !

Italian advice always sucks imo :p

As for OP, you cant afford to play EXTREMELY tight in a tourny, the blinds will destroy you. Id advise reading up on some strategy articles or buying a few poker book, AG will advise you well on which ones. That will make you a better player

3 to 4 thousand hands is nothing. Seriously Ive had losing streak and break even stretches at levels I know I can beat lasting 10K+ hands. That's variance.

The site you play on will have no effect of how well you do. If you are losing on Stars, you will eventually start losing on Full Tilt as well. Of course you could just be on a crappy downswing and your luck might change soon.

actually it's 220 to 1, not 120 to 1.
