The game of poker, synonymous with competitiveness

Many people who are part of this club do as a hobby, many came here (like me) looking for a freeroll however I have found that players here have a good level and that made me stay here for a long time. Poker is a game that many cataloged vice, because people lose large amounts of money in casinos and even in the garage next door, I think that is because poker players usually have a common minimum, which are COMPETITIVE that more than the thrill of winning or losing, the adrenaline generating a final table in a tournament or a big pot in cash. This is the spirit of competition, if the villain is good you want to be better and in that you spend two and three hours. In my opinion Poker is for competitive people, what do you think?

Poker is a wonderful game, every player finds in it what he is looking for. For someone it is excitement and adrenaline, someone finds in it a good game model of logic, there are those who just kill time. It all depends what you are looking for in poker?

I 100% agree that many poker players come from competitive backgrounds!

In poker, there are many former professional athletes, gamers and .... Magic The Gathering players?? Some of the best poker players like Justin Bonomo and Bryn Kenney come from Magic backgrounds. I think that is super interesting. I watched a documentary on Magic tournaments and was surprised at how similar it was to poker. Perhaps learning Magic will make me a better poker player. :laugh::laugh:
