I don't know if this will catch on, but it would be cool to have a place were people can tell about unusual things that happened at a poker table. This would not be about how you won one going Runner Runner with the last two cards that you needed but more about funny odd things.

I will start this off and see how it goes.

Live poker, $2 blind. I'm looking down as the big blind at 2/3 off Suited. Everyone folds to the button who limps in with $2. The small blind calls with his $1 and the dealer starts. There are no more bets as the whole board is laid down. The small blind and I both check and the man on the button just tosses in his cards. It is a 4,9 off suit. I look at the small blind and say I can guarantee you're beating me on this one. He said I don't think so and we both turned over our 2,3 off suit and split the massive $6 pot.

I thought it funny.

Hello! I also remember one funny incident that happened to me! One day, it was about 12 years ago, a friend of mine who already knew what poker was calling me at the casino in our city. We played no-limit hold'em and sometimes bet on roulette (red or black). After 2 hours of play, my friend was in the minus $ 150. And we were going to leave already when my friend invited me to play, although I did not know the rules and for the first time I saw how it happens. I managed to catch the set and win a big pot (about $ 90). And although we did not win back our 150, they left with a good mood. We have a saying: "fools and newcomers are lucky" Then I was lucky, although I did not know how to play at all!

My first day also funny

I knew plenty since I had read "Holdem for Dummies" and I found a live casino room with $.50/$1 tables! They were automated like big video games. Actually a nice setup and required no dealers. But they were about to start a single table tournament so I paid my money and sat down. Playing totally ignorant I somehow managed to chop the prize money 3 ways!
Then to the cash game.
During 2 hours play:
I got pocket Aces TWICE
And limped in on 4,2o and flopped a full house.

I made a small profit and thought, "Wow, this game is Easy!"

As you all know,
I was very,very wrong!!

I know nothing except they were basically high stakes drunk and high players around the time Twitch chat blew up for Poker. The difference being you could watch it all live, whether it was a live tournament or online.

I had a funny hand last month too ,I decided to call an all in pre flop with 4 7 off (I was in a rush and wanted to go away so I decided to go all in) and for my surprise the flop came 4 4 A 7 Q the vilian had KK. And I won. Lol lol that was a funny hand.

Strange occurnece if I remember correctly had AA back to back and got all in preflop both times (1/2nlhe)they held up once

These guys were playing a live KO tournament and they were fighting over $50 debt. They appeared to split ways when one of them came from behind and sucker punched the other KOed him cold. The floor manager put the assailant into a choke hold and the other floor threw him out after calling police.

We were joking at the poker table about this not being that kind of KO tournament. For whatever reason the way one guy at the table who saw it said it made me lol pretty hard.

One more funny happening

On line 6 person sit-n-go. $3.15 buy in double or nothing. Last 3 players get $6.

First hand I had crap but 3 players went all in!
30 seconds later we're down to 4 players.

Second hand crap again and the other 2 players went all in!

So after 2 hands I WON!

About 2 minutes, I win and am wondering Did That Really Happen?
