Got first poker games in fifth, sixth grades; 11 or 12 years old. No hold em. Just draw poker, five card. We played for change, money went a lot further back then.

I can't remember exact date and event which attracted me to the game but it was in pre black friday days when i was at the university (somewhere around 2006 maybe) and poker commercials were everywhere.

I remember being invited to the casino with the boys and when we entered I headed for the blackjack tables and such, all my friends were like “where u going?” And took me into the poker room. Since then I have never looked back at blackjack or roulette.
