2,4 3,7 3,9 4,9 7,2 10,2 all the queen rags, cant forget the jack rags and they all have to be off suited of course. I generally fold anything suited, All pocket a pairs and of course AK cause I don't like guns and KQ cause I don't like marriage.
My favorite cards depend a lot on the modality I'm playing, the moment of the game and my position at the table, that is, I don't have favorite cards, I'm just adapting my hand to the moment the game is at.
Any two cards can win as we all know, but everyone has one or a couple of preferred hands to get involved with. I admit having a weakness for TJ suited, especially TJ of diamonds.
It's best to start with a big pair, but a good hand is one with unusual and unobvious starting cards like 8 10 or 3 5 and you get a good hand on the flop.
JT is one of my most hated as it's in the bottom of my range a lot of the time. A5s on the other hand feels spicy and I like to 4 bet it as a bluff preflop. That's the hand I look at and think "oh boy, time to play!".
