What is your favorite starting hand and why?

For me, and I have NO IDEA why, but PT4 indicates that I win, as a percentage and by chips, more with J8 off than any other hand. Therefore, J8 off for me! :-D

I once got snowmen 3 hands in a row and won each hand, I know it is just a coincidence, but I seem to always do well with them. They are easy to let go of if you things aren't going your way.

Pocket Rockets (duh)

AA, because it is the best hand in hold'em. I get most excited when I am dealt these two cards.

AA is a great card for me, but sometimes I lose with it, but AA is a super card and I can win it perfectly!

maybe it will sound stupid but my favorite starting hand is pair of six
The reason is simple
I've gotten more hands with this card than with AA or each other cards

There is no favorite hand. But with AA it's more pleasant to go on the flop than with AK))))

I like suited connectors and suited gappers a lot[8Ts,9Js etc]! I chose JTs for that reason... You can easily stack off some not experienced players because they tend to call with their high pairs till the river, if you hit strong the board.

68 and 69 seem to work often fine with me. Better when suited and I just play them in special situations, eg short stacked, everybody is all in, or it is just one opponent to call.

KJ is very nice because when you hit your straight there are always opponents wiling to go to the river thinking there high pair aces or queens is good enough!

Not hitting the straight you still have a decent chance of ending u.p with highest pair / kicker.

That's the reason I like j 10 coz if it flops a straight or some 1 hits the ace anywhere they think they r good. It's not my favourite but I like it.
Wen i first started playing I had K8 flop came KK8 ever since I always played it but it has got me in bad spots before so I stopped playing it every time I get it.
You live and learn.

Obviously aces from any position because it is easy to play. But the hand I like the most is the suited connectors on the button when the game is deep, especially 65 of diamonds. When you hit that double draw!! Fireworks :D:D:cool::cool:

It's always nice to see a pair of aces preflop, but I have been disappointed so many times, with the result.

My favorite type of hand is any rubbish, when I get a free look from the big blind and flop a full house. The more limpers the better.

I know it's best to have a pair of Aces in your hand, but I've won a lot of hands with "King Kong".
