bertrand"elky" grospeiller has just won the PCA for 2 million US$
the tourny consisted of 1134 extremely good players
he bested a final table {8 handed} that included david pham
the final hand was bizarr to say the least as elky raise from the small blind and Hafiz "haffa"khan pushed all in and elky insta call with pocket 88's
and haffa turned over 9 3 !!!!!!! what????
anyway the board came 2 5 7 4 4 and elky is the new pca champion
a key hand on the table was when elky called david pham's all in with the nut flush draw {pham had 2 pair 5's and queen's}and made it on the river which i believe basically gave him the title
top 5 placings where as followed
craig hopkins in 5th for 450K$
pham finished in 4th place for 600K$
kris kuykendall came 3rd for 800K$
haffa khan came 2nd for about 1.1 million$
and the campion elky took it down for 2 million$
