Hey guys, I have an interesting proposition for one or maybe even two of you if interested.

I'm a professional video producer and I'm looking for the right person to create YouTube poker vlogs for.

I started my own channel (different niche) back in April and have gained 14k subscribers since (and have made a decent amount of money). If you know anyone that has tried creating content for YouTube, you know this is no easy task. I really wanted to start my own poker channel on top of my other channel, but with two young kids there's just no way for me to spend that much time in a casino playing poker, and then come home and edit all of the videos on top of it.

So that brings me here... I'm looking to edit videos for someone that is interested in filming themselves at the table. If done correctly, there is a ton of money to be made in the long term. I've attached how much Rampage Poker made last year with 100k subscribers.

Now, short term doing poker vlogs is very unprofitable. It could take a year or two for any decent amount of money to start rolling in. (it takes 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time to just get monetized... and the first 1000 subs are the hardest to get). You definitely have to play the long game with YouTube.

I would love to create 1 or 2 videos a week for a vlogger. Consistency is KEY in the Youtube game, so I would need someone reliable that plays a lot of live cards.
Here's an example of the style of videos I would love to help create:

You would have to film and do commentary. I will edit, color correct, add music, create thumbnails, titles, description, and publish the videos. There are very specific ways of doing things for the YouTube algorithm to catch on and get you views and I've done a ton of research on these topics and feel very comfortable with growing a channel quickly.

If you're serious and looking to partner LONG TERM, and would like to see my work or channel, please DM me for more details! I don't want to do this for someone for 2 months and have them bail on me. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE!!! I'm looking to split profits of the channel 50/50 up to 100k subs and lower my cut after that (if we ever get there), so I will definitely be working for free for awhile until the channel gains any traction.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I don't play live, so I'm not interested in the scenario you describe above, but I do have a couple of questions, if you don't mind.

1) Where in the world are you?
2) Would you consider editing videos for a different project for pay?

I'm considering a start-up project of my own. My budget is limited but I could afford something.

I thought about it, but I think I like the game more than blogging. It is difficult to give a definite answer, maybe in the future my position will change :jd4::):jd4:

I'm in the US. I do video production for a living, so depending on the project I may be interested. Why don't you DM me what your project is and what your budget is and we can discuss from there!

Sorry, I didn't realize you were a pro. I assumed you were just starting out and looking for a project or two for experience. I won't be willing to pay anything near the rates you'd be looking for.

I was thinking about it yesterday, I believe it could be cool, however, I not even like to show my hands in showdown, try to imagine how I would feel myself showing it at youtube.

I got some tricks while playing, that I don´t feel so confortable of showing it at Youtube, not even at live Poker.

A couple of years ago I tried to become a blogger, though it had nothing to do with poker. Then I realized that blogging is not my thing

I don't think you will find a player who wants to vlog in this room. Play live tables and record yourself at the same time. It is very difficult more when you are playing money and you need all the concentration possible. And it is even more difficult if you have to wait 1 or 2 years to make a profit.

This initiative is very cool, I hope it succeeds, really creating and editing videos is complex, but they will succeed, total success.

Hey! I'd be very interested in this, currently doing this on my own, but having tons of trouble with editing, exporting crashes, as well as really cutting into my game time. I have a couple videos up on YouTube you can take a look at. Feel free to reach out to chat further about this!

YT channel is https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCiCZWAbzP4r_OocS5Fk9frQ

I would not mind being a vlogger, but I also don't think I would be good at that. Also time would be an issue and frankly I think i would not be so good at it.

Hey man. I play live poker for a living, but it’s tough to get raw content because the casinos I play at have a no phone policy. I do have a home game I play at where I can though.

Anyway, I saw you clipped Wolfgang’s Youtube and I’m wondering if you are familiar with his 1 minute hand videos he posts that got him to 1 million subs. You think you can create content similar to that?

i wouldnt choose sth like that , to become a vlogger or streamer or anything like that . anyway the stakes i play and the results i have also dont allow me to have such dreams or expectations . also you have to have a good sponsorship , that would be a good motivation to start a vlogging journey or to start streaming in a regular or daily basis
