I always have the setting not to show in order to remove the temptation. Also, it slows down the game if the software is waiting for your response. I might mention my cards in the chat, but then the opponents don't know whether or not to believe you. It will usually be something like, "I have AA in the BB and everybody folds? A- 99% of the time I muck - that 1% of the time I do show cards is to show I was bluffing


When I do show my bluffs its normally when I am deep stacked and expect to run well, other than that i hardly ever "show" my hand.
I hate giving information to my opponents, some people don't realize that people DO take notes

I'll show if a player asks and it won't affect my table image, if I'm betting and I have a good hand, I will show it so that next time I bluff they will be more inclined to believe I have a hand.

It works vice versa also, show a good bluff and you can get value out of your best hands next time!
