I don't think there will be fewer people, especially in the evening.

I expect a very small drop in the number of players, but it will hardly be possible to notice

Not really, not noticeable anyway. I think the biggest threat to poker, is governments from countries bringing in legislations to ban online gambling.

I haven't noticed a decrease in the number of players, and I don't expect it either.

Sure glad no online poker when I went to university - would have been broke and flunked out. A weekly home game was quite enough . I'm sure students will continue to multi task and keep on playing online.

I think that there will be fewer players due to the growing crisis.

now there are more poker players, what happens is that the restrictions prevent more players from arriving

I'm in total agreement with you on this. Biggest threat to poker these days is definitely government regulation.

Heaven forbid you lose $5.50 playing a poker tournament when you are losing 8% a year to inflation

I doubt poker playing students will stop playing at university. After all universities have good internet access.

University is where a lot of players start playing poker. They get recruited by experienced players as easy money.

Perhaps the total number of players will be less, but there will be no less quality players, that's for sure. Professionals will remain, it will not be easier to play.

what scares poker players from platforms is the bad beats, all the time, if it's 1 to 10 it still goes but there are platforms that are 7 to 10. So cheap games are turning into bingo.

No, I don´t think so. Students can and will play after university or sometimes during university.

I think it will have less players than during the pandemic, but nothing too notable. I noticed that I had friends that started to play online in the pandemic and now that they returned to their normal activities, they still play, but a lot less.
