Do you take days off from poker every week or do you play everyday?

I also think we have to have days off, it's good to relax your mind.
But I confess that these last 2 weeks I've been playing almost every day.

In previous years, I played poker every day, without exception. I played literally every day! From this perspective, I think I was addicted to poker. There is a big difference between addiction to playing poker and playing, maybe everyday but reasonable. By "reasonable" I mean playing tournaments that you really want to play, not anyone just to play. And when you play just to play, you get lost in that whole game. Now I play poker conscientiously and when I want to, and that means taking breaks. I think it's good to take a longer break, for example a month. Then you rest and you can play much more efficiently.

If there are days you don't have money, maybe you shouldn't be playing at all, or perhaps change you game?

I have two paths. Or sleeping or poker. There is no third!

I play every day. But I wouldn't mind taking a break.

I try to take a break one day a week (like yesterday, for example). Devoting it only to learning.

Usually end up with breaks, but they are not always by choice. If I had complete freedom to choose my sense is I'd want to schedule in breaks from playing.

I am playing nearly daily poker. But not daily for buy-ins.
During the week I play some SNGs for buy-in and afterwards the FRC freeroll.
And at weekends I play hardly buy-in games and mostly the freerolls from CC or from the differnt rooms.
Only some times, when I think, I will have enough time at the weekends, I am
playing some buy-in MTTs. And usually I avoid the SNGs at the weekends.

And therefore I also can skip easily days with playing.

I play daily, but not all the time, I try to take a daily time off poker, taking a break and doing different things, trying to clear and restart my mind. :)

I don't play daily because i take my time in order to do other things than poker. But when i play poker ( 2-3 times a week), i try to do big session and that's not very tough for my mind

I am currently taking time a way from poker as we speak. I needed a long break from poker. It feels good not to go though the ups and downs of the game each day.

I play mostly every day as I do enjoy the game. It is a lot of fun for me to participate so I cannot understand why I wouldn't do it every day. I love to play and glad I can.

Before the Lock-downs started, last year I played very little on-line Poker, as I got my Poker fix every week at my Local Pub in a league game, I ran the League and had to update the score's every week and post the table on Facebook so the regulars had the results every week.
After I finished any work I had to do, I would play for fun on Facebook and play other games like blackjack, or Cribbage or anything that took my fancy, but the Lock-downs finished the Pub games and I was left with the fun games on Facebook, until one day I thought "Why am I wasting time playing for points when I still had an account on pokerstars".
So deciding that to play for real money was more exciting I started playing again on Pokerstars and I had over $200 in my account when I started and set myself a challenge, to double my account before Christmas.
This meant playing everyday and with the help of the Cardschat freeroll's, I smashed my target, and now have over $550 in my account, So this year I have slowed down and only play occasionally to keep my Pokerstars Chest points Active.
I still play many of the freeroll's and have won one or two, but the need to prove anything to myself is gone, so unless I suddenly decide to try and make the $1,000 mark I might give it a try next year, Who knows?

When the fun Stops, STOP!
