Do you play for fun or for money?

Many will say that they play for fun and because they love poker. But I am realistic and I tell the truth, I play for money because if the game moves money and a lot of people win then I can only play for money.
There are players who spend all day playing poker, but as I have not yet defined my poker because I have other goals in life I will leave the game in the background and I certainly believe that I can make good money in poker.

I don't play play money poker anymore. I play freerolls that can lead to money. Tough to fight through the crowds though if you know what I mean. I'm hoping the right tournament with the right cards and the right people may one day put me where I'd like to be. Until then I heave the rock up the hill.

Winning is a bonus i certainly don't play the game to lose.But i wouldn't play the game at'all if i didn't enjoy it.So that was my main reason to start playing the game in the first place.

I play for both actually, the money is nice for a big tourney the chance of winning 10K-100K in one night is why I play.

I am also a bit of a degenerate I love to play I will play just as hard and determined for a freeroll as I would a big tourney.

I play for fun for almost 10 years now but to be honest i can't underestimate the amount of cash I've earned over these years. I'm not sure how much I've cashed out so far but poker earnings helped me pay my studies, my travels and fun in the meantime I consider my poker carrier was successful so far
