I find cash games much easier and generally much more enjoyable. I can start and stop when I want. I like to play for just an hour or two at a time.

If I don’t like a table I can just switch to a different one.

I also prefer STTs to MTTs for basically the same reasons.

This may not make any sense at all, live I prefer cash games but online MTTs. Have devoted more time into tournaments as far as away from the table study. It just works for me and profitable in both methods.

I find tournaments easier because the variable nature of them requires more attention. With the majority of online players focused on multi tabling, naturally their attention will be diminished via muti tasking. I can profit largely by focusing on 2-3 MTTs at a time. ;)

For me cash games are more difficult, specially NLH. I only like to play PLO cash games.

In a tournament, everyone starts with the same number of chips, and the blinds gradually increase. The main goal in the tournament is to win the chips of all players. And depending on the place occupied by the player, he receives (or does not receive) real money reward. In cash games, the chips in front of you represent real money, and the blinds do not increase here. Moreover, no one can completely knock you out of the game, you can always rebuy and continue playing. So the goal in a cash game is simply to win more than you originally had. The first thing that catches your eye in a cash game is that the winnings here will be more stable and even. If you play a long enough distance, then you can approximately predict, for example, your monthly earnings. In tournaments, everything is completely different. Even the top players can sometimes go months without significant prizes. And since they are constantly forced to pay introductory buy-ins, they will slowly lose money. I prefer tournaments.

I think cash games are much simpler and more convenient, the tournament can last +5 hours, sometimes it gets boring. And you can stop playing cash games at any time, change the table, take a break. But the tournament is much more interesting for me

It's not as much harder for me to play cash games as these games just seem more boring. That's why I prefer to play in tournaments.

Cash games are more difficult for me than tournaments. Cash games usually brought me only frustration and losses. I prefer tournaments.

In the cash game, you can choose the opponents you will play with. In MTT tournaments, this possibility is absent in principle, because you cannot predict which of the hundreds of participants you will get to the same table with That's why I choose Cash.

Cash games seem more difficult to me, perhaps because I haven't played them for a long time. I love tournaments

my opinion is that cash games require a lot more attention than tournaments, you have to be focused almost all the time, because there is a possibility that at any time you will lose everything in front of you :)... while in tournaments you can only lose the buy-in:)

Both are different style games. Cash games are more for advanced players.

I find cash games more difficult to play, as they don't "advance" and you have to find an end for yourself.

Hello, tournaments are more difficult for me... it must be long... In cash I have had my best profits... Also, when I want to, I get up and leave...

Tournaments are easier to play. At least that's how I felt. It seems to me that with a short stack (which happens in every tournament) it is more difficult to make a mistake than with a big stack.

I find cashgames harder to play because I do it much less often and don't feel as comfortable.
I just have more positive experiences with MTT's.:D

In cash games I had difficulties to find the right spots and lost more in the long run.. Mtt's are thus much more tangible for me :)

I find the tournament games more challenging than cash games. Cash game you can stand up and leave at any point while in a tournament you have to stay and be concentrated all the time without having the option to leave unless you are eliminated.

I personally find it harder to play cash games. It's harder because I'm more nervous and I make mistakes. In tournaments, my game is calm.

As a recreational player, I like to play both but if I have to pick one that's easier to play - I'll go with cash games as it's more convenient and IMO easier to improve your game too(the blinds don't change, similar stack sizes, you can play the same number of opponents pretty much all the time...), also if for some reason you want to stop playing you can do it whenever you want without losing any money...

GLGL all at the tables and have a great weekend :)

I find cash games way tougher to play in. I find there is more pressure because you can lose all your cash in one hand if you are playing no limit. Whereas with tourney poker you can pay a small buy-in and the blinds start out low and you can build your stack.

Hello

which of the 2 is easier / harder for you personally ?

In the cash game, you can be or do whatever you want, or be a good and honest player or bad or deceitful and reckless, and in both these cases you can lose or win and leave the table or not leave it if you want it unlike tournaments, if we want to achieve a good result We have no choice but to apply poker skills and strategies as it should, because passing to the winning seats is difficult and reaching the final table requires a lot of focus and intelligence.
Winning the first place is an achievement that indicates our good focus and application of poker strategies and skills in a correct manner.
In general, both types are not easy and to win you must apply and respect poker strategies and skills

I like cash and I like to play tournaments. When it comes to cash, I think it's nice that I can decide for myself how long I play.
