Are certain sites "fishier" for cash games but not so much for tournaments, and vice verser? I'm moving my bankroll out of pokerstars soon, the only site I've played on and where I've found plenty of fish - but admittedly, I have no point of reference.

The guide here on the website is great. But I was wondering specifically as to the difference between cash games and tournaments? Obviously popular sites, large field tournaments and a good bankroll are all great - but how tough is "the field" regarding cash games on, say, GG Poker compared to its tournaments?

different sites strengths and weaknesses

So this question should have also had a reference for bankroll and game size because that matters a lot for some sites. So im just going to go on what I've experienced. So by far weakest play is on intertops for sure. but they dont have very good fields and variety cus there are fewer players and the software isnt as nice. that goes for both cash and tourney. Now next im going to say betonline is all around for cash and tourney next. now i know i haven't been separating the two game types per site but that is because they all have similar difficulty in play on each respective to each other. so i feel my answer is enough. and last and best in WPN (ACR Black chip Ya) is the hardest to give an answer to because varying from day to day the site is so different. It always has the biggest fields and better players overall however in my experience they can get very out of hand and dump lots of bbs at the higher level tourneys. the players are extremely agro so much so that it is extremely turbulent especially on Sundays for tourneys, but if your looking for casual everyday mid level tourney and cash i would say intertops is the softest overall.

I recommend ipoker or party poker, there are not very large kilopoles and there are more fish than on PS
