this whole debate is silly.

AK vs AA is only really a 'cooler' for the AK guy if the guy with AA is playing 90/70 or something. but that's just my opinion and the whole thing is largely subjective.

It looks like I win! Except AG is a little overpowering but no one seems to really agree with him except for my running mate. I didn't expect this thread to get so popular, even though I kept it alive for quite some time.

This is from the Full Tilt Poker forum and it agrees with RoyalBurrito as did I. Besides, I like mexican food crowned or not. Obviously, other people copy that forum, too.


COOLER: This is a hand that you lose with (usually a large pot) that cannot be helped. For example...

You have KK. Your opponent has AA. Flop comes AKK, the turn card a 3, and the River card an Ace.

This example is extreme, but you get the idea. There is no way that either one of you will be folding this hand, and therefore you lose a large pot.
