As much as I've tried, I just can't play in tournaments. Well, I can't sit for 12 hours or more in front of the monitor.

Both options are great if you're developing and constantly working on your game. I'm more comfortable playing tournaments, and I only play cash games at small stakes for fun.

It's possible to be a winner in both formats.

The advantage of cash game is that we can select our tables and change them when we want unlike tournaments, we can also stop and resume when we want.

Regarding the variance, in cash game we are less impacted by the variance, but it still takes a lot of work and technical skills.

Good afternoon!
I like to play cash games more because the tournaments are long and you can end the cash game session at any time.
It is more convenient to combine with the main work.
There is a lot of money in tournaments, but you can also earn in cash :)

for you what is better to play cash tables or tournaments, I'm talking in terms of which modality is more profitable
This is all individual. Personally, for me, the cache is more suitable. Some people are better at tournaments.

I prefer to play tournaments! They are different modalities and have their particularities and although cash games is an attractive type of game, you should pay close attention to your movements.

Better Tour....... Than you know how much you lose or you are going to win, in cach you can lose all than you have no other chance to try again, even for the moment.....

One of the benefits of playing cash is that you can get away of the table any moment, so you can win some money and then go to other table

For me cash games, it is instant gratification and can adjust if needed. Late stages of a tournament is great, getting there is a big pain in the ASS.

I try to play mainly in tournaments, as cash games have their own peculiarities

Good morning everyone, I've been playing poker since the end of 2018, and since then I've been changing my opinion as time goes by. I already answered a similar question some time ago, but today my answer will change, because I think Mtts are much better Regarding the cash game:
1° That in cash games, despite being a fairer game, where the player is very deep with 100bbs or more, he will play all streets, flop, turn and river, therefore, players with more technical and mathematical knowledge will win more times. But cash is a game that you have to be very concentrated all the time and that makes the game very stressful and much less profitable than Mtt, I'm studying and I'm having good results in a row on the micros, I stuck the KO 1.10 and I won $198, the duration of this Mtt was almost 7 hours, there is no way to earn that amount playing micro cash game, in the Mtt I invested $1.10 which became $198, in cash how much would I have to invest to win this value and how long would I need to play?
What is better cash game or MTT?
For fun, cash game and Mtts to earn money.

the returns in tournaments are higher in the long run and maybe even with little investment, in cash you can have a quick return as well as lose quickly if you don't have a good day.

Cash game is a faster way to win or lose money.

I disagree.

In a typical day's play (or 'session')

In MTT's it is easy to drop 20 buyins with only hitting a couple/few small scores (or 30+ depending upon how many you're playing in a day).. hence why it's recommended to have 200 buyins in your bankroll as a minimum.

In Cash games, I think my absolute worst day might've been - 10 buyins... BUT more typically you're winning a little or losing a little.

Both of these estimates are for what I'd consider for a competent player, one who is capable of beating the stakes they're playing at.

I prefer Cash Games, because I can play tight. Which is not often possible in tournies ^^
