It is allways a nice question. If someone has no knewledge about poker they think cash and tournament poker is the same. But there are great differences. In the end of a tourney the value of a hand is much more then at the beginning. If you play in a tournament a bad hand costs you all. In cash there is the next hand with the same value.

In general, it is an individual question, someone prefers cash game, someone-MTT. I like tournaments much better, because the game is more dynamic. I think that cash game is boring.

both are profitable, it's just a matter of preference.

The cash player himself determines how long his gaming session will last: 1 hour, 2, 10 or even 48 hours. In the cache, you can get up from the table at any time and leave for a bite to eat, while retaining your playing place. Only in the cash game you can leave without winning anything and without losing anything. The only way to leave a tournament is either with a shield or on a shield. The advantage of managing your own time is the main reason why you should pay attention to cash, and not to tournament poker.

In both games i can find something good for me. In cash games like S&G I can win some cash very quickly and i don't have to wait for my turn long. In tournament if i have good day and luck i can win some bigger cash. It's all about of getting to final table. Personally i like both of this kind of games.

I prefer the cache. The game is less loose in the cache, without bingo.:)

Tournaments give more thrills when you hit something big.

You can simulate playing tournament by playing cash. With increasing blinds, if you know what I mean.

Both got its ups and downs. Tournaments are for long sessions, cash for a quick buck

I tend to play in more tournaments and often do very well but it takes a lot of time and most times its hard to make the money. I do play cash games sometimes and its quicker to make a smaller amount of money.

Tournaments have always been my favourite though, as I really love the challenge of trying to last.

Both are profitable. The difference is in what you feel best. What type of game best suits your style? :)

In terms of prifitability both would be ok i guess. The game in cash and in tournaments may have small differences (small, but not crucial i think), so if you want more stable and day-to-day profit ofcourse it would bee better to play cash tables, because on tourneys you climb to prizepool once in a week or less often. But it depends on many things, so the question is not easy. You can surely make money both in cash and tournaments if you are a good player

Hi, friend!
I think it is worth choosing a discipline that is right for you.
Each game has its pros and cons, and they also have different strategies.

Tournaments are more profitable but is high risk since you have to knock a lot or survive for the top places!

I prefer tournaments.
I also played cash games at one time, but I never enjoyed it, except maybe sometimes heads up cash.

This. One bad hand for a loss of .5 stack can greatly reduce your odds for FT.

Tournaments are better for me, you see your whole way from a small stack to a huge amount of chips. Thousands of rivals, huge prizes, all this is fascinating.
