Grinding SnG's like the posters above me said.
Personally I gravitate to the $1 SnG with 45-90 players. The most important factor to me is just getting ITM in as many as I can & I do this by playing really tight & just playing small pot poker in general. I like to see flops so depending on how many players may go all in pre-flop I may sometimes even fold KK
If you're just playing to make the money, you're probably better of playing $1 single table SNGs. 45 seat SNGs pay only top 15% where as a $1 pays top 30%, so its a lot easier to make make the money in a single table. On top of that, 3rd place in a single table and 7th place for a 45 seat SNG pays roughly the same. The only difference is how much time you invest. In a single, you probably invest an hour to make 3rd or better. In a 45 seat, you probably invest about 2-3 hours just to make the same amount or better.
I'm not saying multi-seat SNGs are bad, but if you're not beating them or just barely making the money you're most likely either breaking even or even losing money.
For the OP, I would suggest sticking with $1 single table SNGs for the most part. Throw in a few $1 multi-table SNGs here and there. It'll help with you MTT game. Also, if you lose, it's not a big blow to the BR and if you win it's a nice boost.
