Me! lol just jk. It depends how you judge best player. It could be how many wsop they have won or there total cash winnings Then there is also variety players that play both well. I would say Phil ivey has my vote

I would have to go with Ivey. Has gotten many bracelets and when poker was already popular. Not like in the older days when the field was much much smaller. Also he plays prety much every type of game out there and has bracelets in a large variety of games. His poker face, types of cards he plays, impossible to read. Typical answer im sure, but from facts I go with Ivey.
