Bankroll manager study it from beginning to end, and play only with your own money, do not take a loan,, allocate yourself a limit for a month, and do not play over the limit

if you dont know who the fish is, then you are the fish.
in the current games everyone is always with their eyes wide open and knows the dynamics of poker, it is much more difficult to earn easy money and find the fish, the game here at cc is always very aggressive with knowledge of probability

Be very patient with the game, especially if you are participating in a long tournament.

Your greatness in poker is shown by the hands you fold, not the ones you play.

My advice for you is don't get attached to AA , and don't tilt when you lose with them , you supose to lose with AA like 20% of the time anyway .
Good luck at the tables mate .

1) Winning is fun.
2) Best proof is by results.
3) No reason to make ignorant players smarter just for ego boost.

Always be water.

It's not the cards you hold at all times that will make you a winner or a loser.

When I was first learning poker, one of the best pieces of advice which helped my game was: "Value bet more and bluff less."
Like most beginners, I'd love to trap with big hands and like to check things down the entire way...I thought it was "balance" and disguising what I have. In a way it does, but then I don't win much of anything even when I do have the winning hand; not to mention that this also puts myself in a vulnerable spot to get outdrawn.

As I learned more about poker, then I became better at incorporating bluffs into my game (as well as occasional trapping), but the default thought with a good hand should be to bet for value. When starting out, I'm probably trap like 75% of the time and only value bet 25% with likely best hands. Now it is probably more than reversed.

Oh one more thing I forgot: this applies to the poker "game" itself, but if we are talking more about advice to the player themselves then it is probably going to be some advice about Bankroll management, Table selection or maybe even having confidence in yourself. :)

If you want to win then don't be afraid of losing. What I want to say is "take risks";)

Ok, I want everyone to put down what the best poker advice they have ever received. You can put the situation, or just a sentence, I think this would be a good learning thread also
Always play within your bankroll and be disciplined.
