I have an MTT pro friend who always calls pocket jacks "The Hoffmans." I find it funny for some reason.

Another one that isn't new but is a favorite of mine is the Hood-Flat, which is when you call a large bet or raise with a speculative hand or draw, not technically getting the right odds but because you just don't want to fold :)

As a loner, I make up my own terms for situations, which are variable, depending on the grade, and whatever else I feel like...
Personally, I refer to people like to raise preflop as a "pot pusher".
I'm sure there is a standard name for this activity, but, I'm not standardized... (aside from "low" standard)

"Pot pusher" isn't bad, haha. I don't know any standard name for it myself other than "bully" for whoever tends to do it very often.
